BACKGROUND
ShareDo is a pioneering work management platform that empowers enterprise businesses to develop tailored solutions for managing their work processes.
We are initially targeting mid to large law firms who are use ShareDo for their Case Management System to streamline their processes, maximise margin, and provide improved client experiences.
With £20m of investment and 12 years of product development behind us, ShareDo reached functional completeness in 2021. We have since secured contracts with some of the largest law firms in the world (c. 40% of the Magic and Silver circle firms, and 15% of the UK Top 100).
The company operates under a bootstrapped model, fostering a culture of sustainable growth without VC mandated aggressive targets. We have grown by > 50% YoY for the last 4 years, and we are aiming to continue this expansion rate over the next 5 years+.

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced product marketing professional to join the growing marketing team.
The ideal candidate will be a generalist that possess a wide skillset, to be able to support the varied needs of the department. They will be equally comfortable with interviewing customers to research optimal positioning, writing scripts for animated explainer videos, or recording product demonstrations that succinctly explains the value of a product capability to prospects.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will primarily help to create benefit & capability-based product marketing content, that provides fuel for our marketing efforts. This will involve gaining a deep understanding of our software, and a deep understanding of our customer’s needs – bringing them together into sales and marketing assets that help to further the business’ goals.
You will also play a key role in customer research, competitive analysis, and messaging development to ensure our products are well-positioned to drive growth.
This is a fully remote position, with the option to attend our Alderley Edge office as much or as little as you like. Key Responsibilities:
- Feature release communication: You will own the process of connecting the gap between the product team and the go-to-market team – translating product updates into the reasons why our customers and prospects should care. Part of this will also involve owning a feature release newsletter, in addition to assisting with the creation of sales and marketing collateral to spread word of these new capabilities to the market (and the benefits they will lead to). You will have input into how we can best go about this process.
- Content creation: Working with the rest of the marketing team, you will assist with the creation of high-quality sales enablement content and visual assets that help prospects to understand the value of our solution. Our vision includes:
- High-level animated explainers that will need carefully curated scripts (with support from a graphic designer);
- Mini-demo videos to go more in-depth (that will be both written and, eventually, recorded by you).
- Website pages, including: feature / use-case / industry / capability
- One-pagers, calculators, sales decks, webinars, etc.
- Occasionally assisting the content team with some longer form content, including case studies, stories, and blog posts.
- Positioning & value propositions: Develop and craft compelling value propositions that resonate with our target audiences, based ona clear understanding of the needs of different user types. Help to ensure these value propositions are understood throughout the business, to provide a unified messaging front.
- User & Competitor research: Create and maintain an in-depth understanding of buyer personas, use cases, battle cards and competitor landscapes to develop effective product positioning that aligns with customer needs.
WHO ARE YOU?
To be a strong candidite for this role we are looking for the following:
- Have established or led a product marketing function at a scale up SaaS business before, and are capable of both strategy and execution.
- Solid foundational knowledge of best practices and industry trends. Product Marketing qualifications not required, but a strong plus.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively in terms that highlight the value for potential customers.
- The ability to understand state of the art technology and translate abstract concepts/features/capabilities into easy-to-understand value propositions for both internal and external audiences.
- Strong understanding of buyer personas, customer segmentation, and competitive landscape analysis.
- Capable of conducting both qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insight that will guide our decisions.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools (we use Hubspot) a strong plus.

THE MAIN INTERVIEW
Interviews are always quite intense and stressful experiences (we’re probably as nervous as you!), but we don’t want you to worry or stress about it. Come along and just expect to talk about what you’ve done and the things you already know about.
You’ll be asked questions that go deeper and deeper into your experience, so that we can determine the breadth and depth of what you know, and what unique skills you might bring to the team.
During the course of that interview, remember that you’re also interviewing us – so feel free to come armed with deeply probing questions of your own to work out if we’re a good fit for you as well!

WORK STYLE
You would be based at our offices in lovely Alderley Edge in Cheshire, but we offer a flexible working policy. Flex the times you start/finish as needed, work from the office or at home – whatever suits you. The only caveat is that we would love to meet up face-to-face every now and then – if only just to say “hi” in-person and break bread together.
